Killradio Weekly News 25 January 2011

The news show of science and reason!

What we have here is this week's Weekly News in Review from harpers.org (and the killradio news team).

Now Tuesday of course is the date that President Obama is making his speech about the State of the Urine and this news report does not yet cover that -- that'll come next week.

But in the meantime, as a bonus for all you folk who do not under any circumstances miss George W. Bush, I have added some scandalously untrue biographical satirical information about our former loser -- I mean leader.  Yes, take down that arrogant slimy bastard with humor and give a listen to the Uncyclopedia's take.  Bush-bashing, don't you miss it?

The news is full of tragedy and misery, but at least you can laugh at it.

If you listen to this news, consider sending me a comment by writing to chillroom@gmail.com.

The entire Bush Administration belongs in prison for their traitorous anti-Constitutional behavior.

is it time for a commercial yet?

TRYING TO CATCH UP ON POSTING SHOWS!!

A short show description on this podcast.  Why?  Because there is a large backlog of shows that need to be released, plus what we talked about on this show a m onth ago might not even be relevant to today's current events.  Also, and opinions expressed in this installment of the Rev's Show might have changed.

Rev. Dak is Sick.  Bla..  We talk about gloves, and how to wear them, IRC servers, the old DVD player at KR.org (for our fire place DVD that we always play every show) old CD players, stubborn people, and troubleshooting problems...  --Going to into a music set -- Rev. Dak's tiny linux box, a media server.  Rev. Mook plays a couple songs from Finnish bands, which are cover songs.  After the tunes, we drop a call on accident (ooops)  Reed's Tig welding of fancy bikes over at Big Art Labs - A couple more tunes, people in the HOT CHAT - talk about a couple movies, technology, and RSA key encryption, and Rev. Daks theory on one time keys, the back door keys in computer operating systems for people to look around in your computer, packet radio and other stuff.  We get a phone call from DJ Chicken Leather, and we end up the show.

A FUN SHOW WITH MR.ROLLERS

A short show description on this podcast.  Why?  Because there is a large backlog of shows that need to be released, plus what we talked about on this show a month ago might not even be relevant to tod tiny_mce/themes/advanced/langs/en.js" type="text/javascript"> ay's current events.  Also, and opinions expressed in this installment of the Rev's Show might have changed.

It's a Happy Borfo Day on the Rev's show and the weather sucks.  Construction on the building next door shakes the Killradio Studio.  Rev. Dak talks about the bigger the windows, the safer the 'hood.  We talk about the 22 dimensions, their size, shape and relativity.  Wavelengths, electrons, and the speed of light.  How numbers are totally made up by whacko scientist.  The Revs' server is DOWN, so people can't CHAT and watch the webcam.  We get a phone call from Rev' Joe Borfo, and he is pissed off that the DMV says he needs a SMOG check for his natural gas car.  WIKI LEAKS and Rev Dak's interests.  DJ. Chicken Leather calls the studio who turns out to be Mr. Rollers stopping by hang out with the Rev's.  Rev. Dak plays some tunes while we setup the studio for our guest.

After the break the server is still down and were getting frustrated with things.  We talk about some current events, riding bikes and other stuff.  The new fountain on Riverside and Fig street.  Mr. Rollers talks about the history of the old theatre on Sunset and Alvarado, and that it's been closed since the late 80's and the several failed ventures that occupied the building in the past.  Walking in Echo Park, riding bikes, PETA world headquarters across the street.  Historic recording studios, the screwed up economy, the new construction on Echo Park Ave near Chango's coffee that ran out of money..  More tech difficulties when playing cassette tapes, We sort it out and Rev. Mook plays a set.  We talk about shoe size, feeling uncomfortable about wearing shoes, bike shoes, "extreme" bike shoes, walking around in clip-less shoes, the MICHAEL JACKSON shoes, anti gravity, getting patents for dumb things, or things that should be ©.  Jobs surrounding pattens such as illustrators, officers and other stuff.  Rev. Mook decribes a circuit as seen in a patent, the most boring thing we could talk about.  Looking for the video where Michel Jackson uses the special patented shoes.  We play the video and talk to Rev. Joe Borfo, making money from online media by selling add space, vintage data transfers, more about music videos, cheating people out of money, riding the bus to Beverly Hills, train right of ways in Los Angeles, using rails to trails to travel cross country, we talk about some other things till we end up the show.

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” -Plato

A day when Duke loses is always a good day. What Long Island band was played on this week's Potluck? It's a rhetorical question; listen up to find out.
