What we have here is this week's Weekly News in Review from harpers.org (and the killradio news team).
This week, we discuss high fructose corn syrup versus sugar. If you listen to the corporations, these two substances are exactly the same. But if that were indeed true, they would both just be called SUGAR.
Now don't get me wrong, we Americans eat WAY too much sugar. But in my experience HFCS makes you keep eating when you're FULL. Is this what happens to you too? If so, if you know something about this, please write!
Also we deal with Camping and the predicted Rapture crap. Sorry, but I am not nice to anybody who was stupid enough to believe this fraud. What would you expect, though? This is a nation of Christian idiots.
And hurray! We're free from that media blight called Oprah!
