RSS FeedLost Tapes
TAPE 1, 60 minutes.
I found a box of dusty tapes in the Kill Radio studio from the early~mid 70's that feature home recordings of a families day to day life. From what I can tell they live in Connecticut and they have family somewhere in Los Angeles. I believe these tapes were recorded and mailed back and forth to each other, like an "Audio Letter". Listen in and you will hear the family talk about rising gas prices and the recession. You can also hear President Ford speaking on the radio or TV in the background on some of this tape.
Side one and Side two have been edited together. I speak in the middle to let you know I flipped the tape over. I find these recordings very interesting, and I think you will too.
